Callye Huf
Doctor of Physical Therapy

PT, DPT

Callye Huf was born and raised in the Philadelphia area. Her previous work experience includes working at a family business in custom cabinetry in the shop building products. She has a passion for DIY and working with her hands. Working in this field helped her explore her creative side and practice problem solving. She has always been passionate about physical health and wellness and wanted to combine her love for manual creativity with wellness. She fell in love with physical therapy and went back to school starting at Community College of Philadelphia. She then transferred to Temple University to earn her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with focus on Exercise Physiology. While in at Temple she worked as an exercise physiologist in a physical therapy practice where she was able to connect with patients and guide them in their rehabilitation. She then entered the DPT program at Temple, where she served as the education coordinator for the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT) student special interest group (SIG). During her role in the AAOMPT SIG, she coordinated with licensed PT’s to further her manual PT skills and learn from mentors with a fellowship in manual therapy.

Since graduating in 2020 from Temple University, she has worked in the orthopedic setting in a variety of patient populations. One of her favorite pieces of physical therapy is helping people change “I can’t” into “I can”. She enjoys manual therapy and feels it helps to connect with the patient and provide patient specific healing and improve their quality of life.

Callye says “The power of being a good listener and understanding an individual’s concerns, even if the concerns are unrelated to their primary purpose of being in PT, is the most important aspect. When an individual feels heard and understood in their vulnerable state, their mental and physical progress is streamlined. It is my goal to have my clients have fun with their rehab and feel supported along the way. The beauty of physical therapy, is that we can be creative and find unique methods to help the client achieve their goals.”

When Callye isn’t working, she enjoys running, hiking, weightlifting, gardening, playing board games, and spending time with her husband and dog.
